Policy review is ongoing work
A privacy or cookie policy is not a one-time artifact. Changes to analytics tools, advertising services, or data practices may require another review and an updated document.
Generic templates rely on manual inventory
A generic template does not know which cookies your latest ConsentEase scan recorded. Copying names, providers, purposes, and durations by hand creates avoidable gaps.
Policies do not refresh themselves
A new scan does not automatically rewrite a published policy. ConsentEase makes the refresh explicit: review current scan data, regenerate a draft, then review and publish it.

The wizard walks through four steps: business details, data collected and purposes, third-party services, then language and jurisdiction. Scanned cookies pre-fill the cookie policy. Generation creates a draft in HTML and Markdown — review it before you publish.
Scan your site
Run the cookie scanner. It detects cookies set during a real page visit. Cookie data feeds the cookie policy wizard — a scan with at least one cookie is required for that policy type.
The scanner may not detect all cookies present, particularly those set after interaction or behind authentication.
Complete the wizard
A four-step intake: business details, data collected, third-party services, then language and jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, or all). Scanned cookies and services are pre-filled where possible.
Policy generated
A draft Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy is created with HTML and Markdown. It includes your actual detected cookies and the jurisdiction-specific structure for the context you chose. Review it before publishing.
Publish and share
Publish to a ConsentEase-hosted URL. Copy the link or iframe embed code, download as HTML, or copy Markdown. Regenerate explicitly when you rescan — there is no automatic sync.
Cookie policy generation requires a completed scan with at least one cookie. The scanner may not detect all cookies present — particularly those set after user interaction or behind authentication. There is no automatic sync on rescan: use the Regenerate action explicitly when you want to refresh the policy from current scan data.
